Well for the first 2 wallpapers lines
the lines i used to make rei right?
those lines are just strokes
i had my brush set at from 3-6 pixel depending on the body part
then i used the pen tool to create a curve and i stroked
repeated that for every single line

read the part about drawing with pen tool, thats how to make curves.
the colour on the 3rd one is a gradient blended in

About the wallpaper, I think the scene you chose is a pretty good one. I like it so much. First thing first, I think you have to remove the stars and the galaxy that you placed on the right upper side of the wallpaper. There is no way a scene like that exist, and honestly speaking, yes, it does not fit the wallpaper. And looking at it overall, I think the way it is now, it is a bit too blurred. The only way I think is the most effective way is to remake the black colored part, the sky, and the cloud. you can leave the city alone look a bit blurred. As for vectoring, try do the stuff I gave you before, the one from ferricorp. It is such a good tutorial for vectoring. For the sky... it is not quite complicated, you can just use gradient for it. and for cloud... this is quite hard, I remember seeing a good tutorial at DA, but I do not know where exactly I saw it. I think you can try searching there for cloud tutorial. as for the text... we will see again when you are done with the rest.
